These cufflinks are a quiet conversation between Italian craftsmanship and Japanese tradition. Each one is centered around a 13 mm sphere in solid 18k rose gold, pierced with a delicate Sashiko pattern—a geometric motif rooted in Japanese textile art, once used to reinforce and protect garments. In this context, it becomes a symbol of patience, resilience, and the beauty found in repetition.

At the center of each gold sphere, a 4.5 mm rhodolite garnet is bezel-set with care. Its deep raspberry hue adds warmth and subtle contrast, and historically, garnet has been worn as a stone of emotional balance and inner strength.

The posts and toggles are made of sterling silver, plated in rose gold to match the tone of the spheres. The cufflinks weigh a total of 10 grams: 7 grams of solid 18k gold, and 3 grams of silver. They are made to order in Italy by Oltremare Gioielli, and meant to last a lifetime—quietly unique, like the person who wears them.
